Processing Services

At South West Steel Products we have a number of processing services to cater for customer needs. These processing services include:

Sawing

We have both a cold cutting saw and a mitre cutting bandsaw. Cold cut saw – Cuts up to 100×100 RHS. Mitre cutting bandsaw – Cuts metal in small or large sizes. 520×300 mitre cutting bandsaw.

Sheetmetal Cutting & Folding

In our workshop we can cut and bend sheetmetal to your specific requirements. Folding – Pressbrake 3700×160 tonne.

Guillotining

Our guillotines include angle shears and hydraulic shears. Angle shears – cut up to 150x150x12 angle. Hydraulic shears – 330×20/480×10 hydraulic shears

Pipe & Tube Bending

We can bend pipe and tube as well at our workshop. Bending – we bend up to 90°. Pipe bent can be up to 80NB pipe.

Pipe & Rod Threading

Our workshop threads pipe and rod. Threading – we can thread up to 100NB BSP threads.

Sheet Shearing

Sheet shearing is done using our large guillotine. Guillotine – cuts up to 3000×6 plate.

Plate Rolling

In our workshop plate can be rolled to your requirements. Rolling – roll plate up to 1800 wide x 6mm

Oxy & Plasma Cutting

At South West Steel Products we can oxy and plasma cut steel to your needs. Oxy Cutting – Cut to 25mm thick Plasma Cutting – Cut to 8mm thick

Punching & Notching

Punching and Notching

We have multiple punching and notching machines in our workshop. Punching – punches up to 30 diameter holes Notching – notches up to 50x100x12.

Drilling

Drilling is another processing service that we provide at South West Steel Products. Drilling – Radial drill, Magnetic Based drill. Drill large sized holes to your preferred sizes.
